Job Title: Event Assistant (Weddings)
Location: Newport, Rhode Island
Type: Hourly / On-Site (Weekends)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a kind, energetic, and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support our Lead Planner on-site during weddings and special events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves weddings, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Planner on wedding days with setup, coordination, and breakdown
Follow and implement pre-prepared timelines, checklists, and task lists with precision
Communicate clearly and confidently with vendors, guests, and venue staff
Support creative details and styling elements as needed
Anticipate and troubleshoot any issues on-site with a calm, positive attitude
Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends
Based in or near Newport, Rhode Island
Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and multitask under pressure
Friendly, optimistic, and professional demeanor
Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with vendors and clients
Passion for weddings and events; a creative eye is a plus

Job Title: Event Setup Staff – Weddings
Location: Newport, Rhode Island

Job Description:
Join our team as part of the Event Setup Staff and be a key part of bringing wedding dreams to life! This hands-on role involves setting up and styling décor items such as escort cards, signage, menu cards, and more—following detailed checklists and setup instructions to ensure everything looks picture-perfect.
Responsibilities:
Set up and style wedding décor according to prepared instructions and layout plans
Collaborate with venue staff to ensure all elements are completed efficiently and accurately
Use good judgment and creativity to make thoughtful adjustments as needed
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment
Help create a seamless, beautiful experience for our couples and their guests
Requirements:
Available on weekends (especially Saturdays)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow directions closely
Works well with others and communicates clearly
Energetic, professional, and eager to be part of a fun, behind-the-scenes team

Job Title: Wedding Day Transportation Coordinator
Location: Newport, Rhode Island
Type: On-Site / Part-Time (Primarily Weekends)
Compensation: Flat Rate (per event)
Job Description:
We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and cheerful Transportation Coordinator to ensure smooth and timely guest transportation on the wedding day. You’ll be the go-to person for greeting guests, coordinating with the driver, and keeping everything on schedule from hotel pickup to ceremony arrival.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrive at the designated hotel before scheduled pickup time
Confirm the transportation vehicle has arrived and greet the driver
Notify the hotel front desk when transportation is ready for guests
Greet guests warmly, assist with boarding, and ensure a smooth departure
Ride on the shuttle/bus to each stop to support guests and monitor timing
Communicate guest count and departure times with the Lead Planner in real-time
Upon arrival at the venue, guide guests to the ceremony location
Maintain a positive, professional presence throughout the event
Requirements:
Available on weekends (Saturdays)
Friendly, calm, and professional with excellent communication skills
Comfortable speaking with guests, drivers, and event staff
Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
Positive, helpful, and upbeat attitude
Must be comfortable riding along on guest transportation for the duration of the assignment
Compensation:
This is a flat-rate, event-based position. Rate will be discussed based on experience and availability.

Job Title: Bridal Attendant

Job Description:
We’re seeking a poised, kind, and attentive Bridal Attendant to support the bride and bridal party on the morning of the wedding. As a calm and reassuring presence, you’ll be there to anticipate needs, answer questions, and help keep everything running smoothly and on time—so the bridal party can enjoy a relaxed start to the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrive at the bridal getting-ready location and greet the bride and bridal party
Assist with steaming gowns, organizing accessories, and managing the space
Keep everyone on track with the pre-prepared timeline and morning schedule
Communicate timing updates to the Lead Planner throughout the morning
Offer calm, thoughtful guidance and answer any timeline or logistics questions
Be ready to jump in with anything needed—whether it’s finding a safety pin or calming nerves
Provide support in a subtle, professional manner without being intrusive or overbearing
Requirements:
Available on weekends (Saturdays)
Professional, polished, and calm under pressure
Personable and confident
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Able to remain in the background while still offering proactive support
Experience in weddings, hospitality, or client service preferred but not required
